Leumeah Pump Track

Leumeah Pump Track
Description
Leumeah Pump Track is a purpose-built asphalt loop track in Leumeah, tucked inside Hollylea Reserve right next to the skate park and a stone's throw from the train station. With multiple loops ranging from beginner-friendly to properly challenging, it's the kind of place where kids beg to do "just one more lap" for a solid hour while you sit back on the sandstone seats and wonder why you didn't discover this sooner.
Why We Love It
Dedicated beginner loop a smaller, separate pump track loop designed for younger or less experienced riders, so little ones aren't dodging the big kids on their first go.
Fully fenced perimeter keeping everyone contained and giving parents genuine peace of mind — no chasing escapees across the reserve.
Lit for evening rides the track has lighting for after-dark sessions, which is a game-changer on long summer evenings when no one wants to go home.
Completely free, all day, every day open 24/7 with no entry fee, no bookings, no fuss — just turn up and ride.
Cafe right across the road Hollylea Cafe opens at 5:30am and does coffee, milkshakes and snacks, so the post-ride refuel is sorted without getting back in the car.
Train station next door Leumeah Station is literally adjacent, making it easy to skip the drive altogether — load up the bikes and catch the train.

Tips
BYO safety gear: Helmets and pads are strongly recommended. The facility does not provide equipment — bring your own bike, scooter or skateboard plus protective gear.
Visit off-peak for young kids: Weekday mornings or early mornings are much quieter and better suited to younger riders still finding their confidence.
Combine with the skate park: The adjacent Leumeah Skate Park has street and transition features for older or more experienced kids who want to mix it up.
Train accessible: Leumeah Station is right next door — consider catching the train with bikes to avoid parking hassles.
Water bubblers on-site: Drinking fountains are available, but bringing your own water bottle is still a good idea on hot days.
