    Description

Kiddoz Cafe is a two-level indoor play centre on Level 1 of Macquarie Centre, built around kids aged 0–8 in pastel-coloured rooms that look more boutique cafe than primary-colour chaos. Same crew as the old Kiddo Kove, refreshed brand, with sightlines that let you watch from a seat instead of hovering.

    Why We Love It

    • Capped at 0–8 so the bigger kids don't bowl the little ones over — a rarity in indoor centres that try to be everything to everyone.

    • Role-play rooms that go beyond the basics — a mini market, hospital, ice-cream truck, dress-up corner and makeup station so the brains stay as busy as the bodies.

    • Two ball pits, one sized for the littlest so a wobbly one-year-old can wade safely while older siblings dive into the deeper one.

    • Pastel, photogenic interiors that don't assault your eyeballs — and the seating layout means you can keep eyes on them from your coffee, no hovering needed.

    • Inside Macquarie Centre, two minutes from the Metro so you can fold it into a shopping trip, and the carpark and rainy-day rescue are already solved.

    Tips

    • Socks are mandatory: Grip socks are required for kids and adults — available to buy at the desk if you forget.

    • Adults pay too: Adult entry is included with admission, but it comes with a free coffee — softens the ticket.

    • Watch for private bookings: The whole venue is sometimes booked out for birthday parties (especially weekend afternoons). Check their Instagram @kiddozcafe_mq before you go.

    • Level 1, next to Kmart: Use the Herring Road entrance, take the escalator up, and look for it just outside the Kmart entry.

    • Old name was Kiddo Kove: Searching maps or reviews? The venue was rebranded — same place, same operators, new sign.
