Caddies Creek Reserve

Caddies Creek Reserve
Description
Caddies Creek Reserve in Beaumont Hills is a sprawling family park in Sydney's Hills District where a single car park unlocks sports fields, multiple playgrounds, BBQ picnic spots along the creek, walking and bike paths, and a buzzing pump track and skate area. It's the kind of place you can roll up with bikes, a footy, and a cooler bag and not have to think twice about the next four hours.
Why We Love It
Genuine park-once-play-all-day variety with three full-sized football fields, a baseball diamond, three basketball stands, a playground, and creek-side picnic areas all reachable from the same car park.
Award-winning pump track and skate area at the Beaumont Hills Park end — a smaller, smoother concrete circuit ideal for younger riders, plus a street-style skate area and the 'Convergence' mural by renowned artist Beastman.
Built-in shade from the Metro Skytrain viaduct over the pump track and skate area — a rare and welcome bonus on a 35-degree Sydney day.
Caddies Creek wildlife and walking paths with Maned Ducks, Kookaburras, Galahs, Cockatoos, and the occasional kangaroo with a joey along a pram-friendly shared pathway.
BBQ picnic areas along the creek with open grass nearby — perfect for an informal birthday gathering or a long lazy weekend lunch.
Off-leash dog area near the baseball fields with a dog water fountain along the path, so the dog gets a run while the kids hit the playground.
10-minute walk from Bella Vista Metro plus several nearby bus stops, so you can skip the parking battle entirely on busy weekends.

Tips
Park once, play all day: From the Caddies Creek Sports Complex car parks, you can reach the playgrounds, sports fields, creek path, BBQ picnic areas, and the pump track / skate area without moving the car.
Bring everything you need: There's no cafe or shop on-site — pack water, snacks, sunscreen, hats, and any sports or play gear (bikes, scooters, skateboards, balls).
Weekend parking fills fast: Car parks can fill during weekend sports events, so arrive early or visit during off-peak times.
Helmets compulsory on the pump track: Under NSW law, bicycle helmets are compulsory; helmets are also strongly recommended for scooters and skateboards.
BYO equipment for the pump track: No hire on-site — bring your own bike, scooter, or skateboard.
Off-leash dog area is unfenced: The designated off-leash area is near the baseball fields with no fencing; keep an eye out, especially near the road.
Watch for snakes near the creek: Bushland and creek environments mean snakes are occasionally present — keep kids and dogs on the paths during warmer months.
Public transport saves the parking battle: Bella Vista Metro is roughly a 10-minute walk; buses 626, 633, 651, 664, 715, 731, and 735 stop nearby.
Coffee and food close by: across the road is the Ettamogah or further up the road you have Rouse Hill Town Centre, so there are plenty of options if you decide not to bring a picnic!
