Aquatopia Water Park

Aquatopia Water Park
Description
Aquatopia Water Park Prairiewood is one of Sydney's best and most affordable seasonal water parks for families, set within Prairiewood Leisure Centre in the city's south-west. With a massive 55-metre wave pool, towering slides up to 20 metres high, a Wave Rider body board simulator, and a dedicated toddler pool, there is genuinely something for every age group. The park operates from late September through to mid-April each year, making it a perfect warm-weather destination for kids who love water play.
Why We Love It
The 55m wave pool is huge and a real crowd-pleaser for kids of all ages, from cautious paddlers to confident swimmers.
Slides for every thrill level ranging from 10-metre slides for first-timers to the 20-metre giant slides and Rocket Drop Slide for adrenaline seekers.
The Adventure Aqua Tower has 79 interactive water play elements, keeping primary-aged kids entertained for hours.
Wave Rider body board simulator gives older kids and teens a taste of surfing without the ocean.
Dedicated toddler pool means little ones have their own safe, shallow space to splash around in.
BYO food is welcome so you can pack a picnic and make a full day of it without spending a fortune on snacks.
Free parking on-site takes the stress out of arriving, especially on busy school holiday days.
Note: Aquatopia is seasonal, so it is only opened from the first weekend of the September school holidays until the final weekend of the April school holidays.

Tips
Book tickets online before you go: Tickets are only available via TryBooking and cannot be purchased at the gate, so make sure you book ahead.
Check the weather first: The park is outdoor and weather dependent, so it may close on rainy or cold days. Check their website or socials before heading out.
Height check for big slides: Children need to be at least 120cm tall and aged 6+ to ride the major slides, so measure up before promising the kids a go.
BYO food rules apply: You can bring food and drinks, but they must be in unbranded containers. No glass or alcohol allowed.
Fairfield residents get a discount: Local residents pay $17 instead of $20 for single entry. Bring proof of address to save a few dollars.
Peak hours are longer: From late December to early February the park stays open until 5pm instead of 4pm. Outside peak, it is weekends only unless it is school holidays.
Book cabanas early: Cabanas (from $300) and shade shelters (from $160) are popular and book out fast on hot days. Reserve ahead if you want guaranteed shade.
